Spring is here and we are so excited!! Our new collection is extremely special to us - not only have we put our all into this collection but it also has some of our favorite pieces to date! Here’s what Jemma had to say about this collection:
"A back-to-basics collection that simplifies our vision and the experience of getting dressed. A reminder to spend more time in your garden and less time choosing what to wear. Los Angeles, the home of LW, is known for its sunshine but rain was a frequent occurrence this winter. Downtown LA has had more rain in 4 months than it had all of last year. The heavy rain brought a super bloom of wildflowers to Southern California. Hillsides are covered in Mustard Plants and Poppies.
Mustard flowers were the perfect backdrop for our Spring pieces, so we packed up the collection, Emily grabbed her film camera, and we headed to Malibu. The Loop Trail at Corral Canyon Park was covered in them! After the Woolsey Fire it was incredible to see the vibrant yellow flowers in full bloom.
If you live in LA or are coming to visit this Spring, make sure to head to Malibu for a perfect day! Grab your friends, family, and furry companions and head to the Loop Trail that is located right off PCH for a beautiful hike. The ocean breeze feels amazing now that the temperatures are rising. After the hike head next door to Malibu Seafood for lunch. The clam chowder and fish and chips prices and portions are awesome! Once you order head upstairs to one of their picnic tables that overlook the ocean.
P.s. Please remember to stay on the trail when adventuring in public parks and reserves. It takes all of us to preserve these flowers and our planet.
